Working from home as an Online business

Will the new age of entrepreneurs be working from home with little to no face to face interaction with customers? Face to face interaction will be done virtually via video conferencing on Zoom, Skype or other video calls. Internet companies are going to be formed everyday if this pandemic continues for over a year. Online business and artificial intelligence will become the order of the day. The information age will be fast forwarded into the future where everyone stays at home and communicate via electronic devices. Economic lockdowns  have forced the world to adhere to social distancing whereby no one is meeting people physically to conduct business anymore. All business is now being conducted over the internet.

With self isolation becoming the new norm, businesses are shutting doors, laying off workers, and everyone is forced to work from home as an online business. COVID-19 is reshaping the models on which most businesses operate and forcing all enterprise to online selling, marketing and advertising. People who are working at home tend to spend more time on the internet and until this pandemic ends, online traffic will continue to increase. Online businesses such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, Zoom and Skype are seeing a soar in their stock prices and sales. Some businesses taking a heavy hit from this pandemic include: Restaurants, Airlines, Movie theatres, Event businesses and Retail shopping centers.

The solution to the economic setbacks of some of these businesses is to shift their operations to online selling, marketing, advertising and branding. Some restaurants have started to sell meals online and deliver it to customers' doorsteps. Online movie streaming such as Netflix, and Disney plus are maximizing on the customers who are quarantined and who will not be leaving their house to visit a movie theatre anytime soon. Shopping centers are now using e-commerce as a solution to the issue of social distancing which has prevented customers from visiting retail stores and might prevent them from visiting shopping malls for another year and a half. There will be a major dip in the sales of many businesses for the next coming weeks and months if brick and mortar businesses do not adapt quickly and transition into internet businesses. Some companies may not be able to survive the recession that is currently being orchestrated by the novel coronavirus. Hence the solution to the economic revolution is to shift businesses from the brick and mortar sales system to the online sales system. Now is the time for all Medical Laboratories to market their mobile phlebotomy services online. Instead of the patient coming to the Medical Laboratory, due to being quarantined, the Medical Laboratory should do house calls and go to the patient.
